Meet Charlotte.

Since she was a little girl, Charlotte knew what she wanted to be.

An olympic athlete!

That never happened. Life had other plans. She tried on many hats. She wore them well. She actually has one of her original blue hats left in her closet.

One suitcase will always be for all of her hats.

Now, Charlotte would like to be an astrophysicist, spy, astronaut, killer, therapist, Princess Leia, detective, woman who finds Bourne, woman who finds Bond, woman who saves the world. Unfortunately, that would require a lot of work, training, studying, and discipline; none of which Charlotte has the capacity for.

So, she decided to become an actress, where she might actually be able to pretend to be these things.

But that hasn’t been happening, because she’s been playing roles like:

• a pregnant woman

• a not pregnant woman

• a mother who loves her children

• a mother who lost her children

• a wife

• a divorcee

• a girlfriend to a boy

• a girlfriend to a girl

• a homewrecker

• a hacker

• a precocious student

If you look at the previous roles very carefully, you’ll notice that she still has not gotten the chance to be the things she wants to be.

Charlotte on her current trajectory is just picking up roles that are offered to her until she can fulfill her dream of pretending to be the things she could have been if she had lived an intentional life and chose to be them at a very young age onward.
